Health Surveillance
Health surveillance is a system on regular on-going health checks for employees that are exposed to hazards and risks in the workplace that may affect their health. Surveillance can help identify early signs of ill health caused by the work environment and identify further action that needs to be taken to protect workers from harm.
Workers may need surveillance if they are exposed to:
- noise
- vibration
- solvents or fumes
- dusts
- laboratory animals, insects and snakes
- biological agents and other substances hazardous to health
We are able to carry out a number of surveillance tests including:
- Audiometry
- Spirometry
- Vision tests
- Skin surveillance
