Vaccinations

We keep most vaccinations in stock all the time.  Many vaccinations require more than one dose to give effective protection.  

For overseas travel that will last more than a month it is best to visit the travel clinic around 4-6 weeks before travelling.  For shorter trips visit at least 2 - 3 weeks before.  However, even if travelling at short notice we still recommend attending for a consultation.

Even if you are travelling at short notice or have left your travel health needs to the last minute and think you do not have time for vaccination, come and see us in the clinic.  Many vaccines can be given at short notice or schedules shortened to accommodate your travel plans.

Specialist Vaccines

We also offer the following specialist vaccines;

  • Meningitis B (Bexsero)
  • HPV Human Papilloma Virus (Gardasil)
  • Shingles (Zostavax) 
  • Varicella (Varivax)
  • HIB meningococcal and group C (Menitorix)

If you wish to receive one of the above vaccines, please click on 'Request an Appointment', then select 'Other special vaccine request' and complete the form.  Once your request has been approved, you will need to pre-pay for these vaccines.
